THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Andre's Bistro & Bar Restaurant Review

About the décor: The legacy of André Rochat lives on in the ’burbs, at Andre’s Bistro & Bar. There are hints to founder Rochat’s illustrious past, with the lampshades and sign from Andre’s at Monte Carlo in the private dining room and a handful of his favorite menus from years past decorating the walls. In addition, the interior sports a polished concrete floor, earth tones of burnt orange and taupe, hanging globe lights and large windows allowing for plenty of natural light.

Likes: Andre Rochat is renowned for being Las Vegas’ first celebrity chef, and though now retired, he visits often and consults on the menu.
Dislikes: For the ultimate finale you will need to plan ahead and order it with your entrée, for the Andre’s classic soufflé, which comes in options of chocolate or Grand Marnier, requires extra time to prepare, but it's worth the wait.

Food & Drinks:The menu has a bit of everything, all done to a very high standard but without the kind of prices found on the Strip. Not-to-miss items are the French onion soup with Gruyère cheese; seared foie gras with Fuji apple; artisanal sausages with spicy lamb, pork-garlic and duck; moules frites (Cape Cod mussels with tomato concassé and duck fat fries); and coq au vin, chicken braised in red wine, pearl onions, mushrooms, bacon and chicken jus. Burgers, made from meat ground in-house, come with duck fat fries and in choices of Thai chicken, lamb, salmon and beef. More than 50 wines are served, along with classic and signature cocktails, like the Violet Beauregarde with vodka, elderflower liqueur, Crème Violette, Cocchi Americano and lemon juice. Finish with a lemon tart, crème brûlée or chocolate pot de crème.
