THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Angan Indian Restaurant Restaurant Review:
As at many Indian restaurants, lunch at Angan is a buffet. But the quality of the cooking and the intriguing nature of the dishes set this one apart from so many others. The egg curry, with hard-cooked halved eggs floating in a light spicy sauce, is a standout. Mushroom mutter is mushrooms and peas in a creamy sauce, well seasoned but not spicy. The tender lamb, standard tandoori chicken and basmati rice are all distinguished versions of these standards. From the dinner menu, target the butter chicken and the eggplant dishes. Servings are plenty to share for lighter appetites. A good cup of Indian tea is aromatic and warming with this fare.
