This sleek and handy café is located just off the grand, soaring lobby of the Angelika Film Center in the Bayou Place entertainment complex. With a cool look and a handsome bar, it affords stunning close-up views of the downtown skyline, the theater district and all of the interesting people passing through. Talented chef Zumm Escudier keeps her highly creative menu up-to-date with a culinary melting pot of selections. Expect sound pizza-pasta-sandwich selections alongside asparagus with grilled onion strudel, avocado mousse, spicy chicken satay, bacon-wrapped oysters and artichoke linguine. So forego the popcorn and candy and show up early for some sophisticated fare or settle in after the show for some coffee, great sweets or a nice glass of wine.
