Angler Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Chef Joshua Skenes of Saison has expanded with Angler, a seafood-focused concept on the Embarcadero. Like Saison, there is an emphasis on fire cooking, with a 32-foot hearth being the center of the kitchen.
About the food: Expect an à la carte menu with raw bar items and wood-fired dishes like giant octopus, scorpion fish, California king crab, whole pastured chicken and bone-in porterhouse.
