: Savvy locals know that dinner outings to Anthony’s Bar are likely to impress. While there's always a fine pasta---sausage and ricotta is a favorite sauce---and notable soups on the relatively short menu, one may also opt for a polenta-crusted pork chop with risotto cakes, red-curry chicken wings or two tartares, classic beef and Asian-style tuna, served side by side. In addition, just about anything from the Tony's (next door) menu is available, including the desserts. Service is attentive but more casual than in Tony’s formal dining rooms. (That said, right before the Cardinals play across the street, things get downright hectic. Wait it out; you’ll be glad you did.) Diners may use the valet parking at Tony's entrance around the corner on Market Street. |
