THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ariel's Restaurant Review:

With two restaurants and a popular television series, Ariel’s chef Jeffrey Nathan is fast becoming the definitive spokesperson for what he calls New Jewish cuisine. When he moved Abigael’s around the corner, he transformed this spot into Ariel’s. Here he serves only kosher dairy food, much of it with an Italian bent. Apparently New Jewish cuisine means almost anything goes---as long as it’s blessed. At Ariel’s you can sample spiedini Romano (Tuscan bread with mozzarella topped with a garlic-anchovy butter sauce), an assortment of pastas or such entrées as Moroccan-crusted red snapper, Southern-fried sea bass or trout with cashews, mango and cilantro.
