THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Artisan Cheese Gallery Restaurant Review:

Artisan Cheese Gallery is one of L.A.’s top fromageries, with dozens of varieties on hand, whether your preference is a stinky yet tasty Maroilles from northern France, Roaring Forties blue from Australia or Old Kentucky Tomme, an artisan goat cheese from Indiana. This delightful shop, which Melody Dosch founded in 2005 with her parents Fred and Kay Heinemann, is now run by Shelley Janson, who previously owned the Epicurean School of Culinary Arts in West Hollywood. The place continues to make some of the best sandwiches in the area, served on artisanal breads from Breadbar, the L.A. outpost of famed Parisian boulanger Eric Kayser. Choose from duck confit with fig spread and Dutch Parrano cheese on pain de mie; a roast chicken panino with pancetta and smoked paprika aïoli; or a New Orleans-style muffuletta. Shelves are stocked with artisan goods.
