Arturo Express is the perfect location for the downtown wanderer-shopper, especially if time is important. This is a counter-order place, but there are fifteen tables at which to savor the fare, which ranges from early morning bakery with members of the latte and cappuccino family to delicious salads (tortellini is excellent) and sandwiches. Try the excellent meat-and-cheese focaccina sandwich (Genoa salami, provolone, roasted peppers, eggplant) or one of the lunch specials. A great place to pick up a lunch for a picnic in the park or at Oak Street Beach nearby. But beware that the service can be so slow at times you will be nibbling on your knuckles.
