Jacques Lacipière’s fine restaurant has undergone a face-lift. The décor is done up in subdued grays and whites with paintings of country scenes and still life compositions on the walls. As always, there is an unbeatable three-course lunch menu at a bargain price (€27). The choices reflect the bounty of the season, so you might find mackerel fillet with a lemony vinaigrette as an appetizer (for a Provençal touch) or succulent veal kidney in a lentil ragoût as a main course. There is an endless choice of superb desserts, like a bounty of fresh fruit accompanied by a vine peach sorbet. Ideal for a business lunch or dinner.
