Berkeley’s oldest pub is a cozy hangout for students and old-timers, locals and world travelers, who all pass the time playing pool, darts and any one of a bevy of board games, or Sunday night’s Brainstormer Trivia Pub Quiz. This friendly tavern comes equipped with a good selection of spirits and beers (including 14 on tap and 50-plus bottled varieties from all over the world). Food is limited to all-you-can-eat popcorn for 25 cents and pizza that you order in, but you’re encouraged to bring your own eats.
