Arugula Restaurant Review:

Arugula’s menus are inspired by the flavors of the Middle East, northern Italy and France, and everything is prepared in-house, desserts included. The Mediterranean bistro fare, served in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, includes seared ahi with coriander-scented baby spinach and oven-roasted tomatoes, and a vegetarian "napoleon" of roasted eggplant and wonton with sweet red onions, tomatoes, feta, watercress and tahini. Desserts are equally interesting, from the chocolate banana bread pudding to the lemon curd-filled butter cake. Profiteroles, donut “nubs” filled with French vanilla ice cream and drizzled with dark chocolate ganache, are a favorite. House wines include Spanish Tempranillo, as well as a selection of French and Californian whites and reds.
