Bank & Bourbon Restaurant Review:
Loews Philadelphia Hotel’s ground floor restaurant was smartly redone in a modern, speakeasy flair that befits its location in the landmark, Art Deco-style PSFS Building. The menu riffs on American classics such as eggs Benedict with smoked pork loin at brunch; and seared duck breast with orange mostarda, fennel and shiitake mushrooms at dinner. As the name suggests, cocktails are a priority, including specialties like the Secret Knock, a punch made from house-aged whiskey, green tea and lemon, while the Whiskey Bank contains spirits that can be sipped individually or in flights.
