About the restaurant: Tucked away just off the main square in Healdsburg is a surprising enclave of chic gardens and art. Low-slung seats surround a central bar, with show-stealing cocktails such as Brazilian caipirinhas and artisan martinis with lemongrass syrup, cilantro or muddled ginger.
Food & Drinks: The cuisine, billed as “modern country,” is just as enticing. Consider lobster risotto with corn, lemon zest and watercress; crispy, free-range roast chicken with mushrooms, bacon and egg yolk ravioli; or a ground filet mignon burger with frites. The menu takes pride in promoting ingredients sourced from a cooperative of local farmers and purveyors. Check out the French-inspired prix-fixe Sunday country dinners --- three-course, seasonal meals at reasonable prices. An impressive wine list carries local and international selections. Dine on the garden patio under shade trees where twinkle lights and water fountains make dining here feel like a celebration.
