Beachhouse at the Moana Restaurant Review:

Beachhouse carries on the elegance of the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa. Shades of white and cream give the dining room a serene feel, and the lanai features expansive ocean views. Appetizers are familiar yet refined --- try the steak tartare made with Wagyu beef and accompanied by Okinawan sweet potato crisps or the Beachhouse poke using local avocado, Maui onion, lotus root and a kochujang aïoli. Items from the ocean raw bar include fresh sashimi, Kona abalone, Pacific oysters and king crab. Meat lovers can opt for local Hawaii ranchers beef, Snake River black label Wagyu, herbed prime rib or Australian rack of lamb. Consider as well the three-course tasting menu ($89). The wine list is varied. Professional service is especially welcoming. Breakfast and afternoon tea are also available, but in the daytime this venue goes by a different name: The Veranda.
