The Big Greek Cafe Restaurant Review:
Playing off the name of the movie, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” this Silver Spring eatery offers a menu of appealing Greek fare. Although it is an order-at-the-counter place you can still enjoy a full meal, including such starters as hummus and spanakopita before moving on to the entrées: a falafel Greek salad, a gyro salad, a gyro pita, or a chicken souvlaki or pork souvlaki platter. Portion sizes will be the key to overeating, and the food is authentic. No meal would be complete without a wedge of the baklava, one of the most authentic in the metro area.
