About the restaurant: Executive chef Jennifer Jasinski regales Francophiles with a contemporary menu of French fare at this romantic bistro tucked into an alleyway in Larimer Square.

Food & Drinks: Start with mussels floating in a garlic and white wine broth to soak up with a warm baguette, or the soulfully satisfying onion soup, particularly warming on a chilly day. Our favorite entrée is the juicy, grilled steak served simply au poivre or with a classic béarnaise sauce and paired with frites; the roasted chicken comes a close second. Desserts are also traditional, with crème brûlée and macarons among the options. A bottle list of more than 90 wines, most of them French, is featured, and it includes numerous pours by the glass and half bottles. For brunch, we might sip a classic French martini concocted with house-infused pineapple vodka while waiting for our croque madame.
