Bistrotheque Restaurant Review:

The place looks right for the area; it’s an industrial ex-factory building with a first floor restaurant with whitewashed walls and bistro-style seating enlivened with flower arrangements. The clientele is fashionable East End, i.e., a comfortable step up from cutting-edge. The confident menu might start with charcuterie or ham hock terrine and beetroot purée. There are salads, snacks like quails eggs or devilled whitebait, and mains from steak tartare or a cheeseburger to fish ‘n’ chips, rack of lamb and veal chop with seasonal vegetables. Set dinner before 7.15pm and after 9.45pm 3 courses £17.50.
