Bluebird Cafe Restaurant Review:

The café occupies one side of the Conran development of the old Bluebird Garage in the King's Road. The old pumps have been replaced by an abundant fruit and vegetable display with flaming torches at either end to give a village market look, and there’s a barbecue in the summer. Tables and chairs spill out onto the forecourt, imparting a particularly Mediterranean feel. The menu proposes a wide range of light snacks and meals, from eggs Benedict (for brunch fans) to salads, from pies to a rotisserie and grill. The Afternoon Tea includes a Tiny Tea at £9 complete with scones and cream. It’s all very modish and all highly suitable for the Chelsea designer families who have adopted the place as their own. Expect to wait for tables in the summer, particularly when the barbecue is in full swing.
