This busy neighborhood eatery keeps 'em coming back with the comforts of simple, well-priced plates such as the big and juicy burger and daily specials. Get a taste of the South with entrées like Cajun-style meatloaf; a pulled-pork barbecue sandwich; fried green tomato and pimento cheese; and a po' boy of deep-fried oysters or shrimp atop a crusty roll drenched in rémoulade sauce. The open kitchen and friendly staff operating in this converted Dairy Queen add to the charm. Two popular desserts are the Hummingbird cake, a Southern tradition, and coconut cake.
