Brass Rail Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

Locals frequent this place because the food is unsullied by culinary trends and fashions, it is always inexpensive, the dress code is casual and the staff friendly. Kick back and order a dinner special --- a very generous dinner special --- available for $12 (why cook?) Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Among the dozen or so selections, find roast loin of pork with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables, or opt for shrimp and scallops in marinara on angel hair pasta. And all specials come with soup or salad. And Monday through Friday lunch can be had here for $5. Off the dinner list, explore Brass Rail prime rib, the house specialty prepared in many ways, from spicy Cajun-style to robust Montréal. Add to those selections dozens of sandwiches, burgers and pasta dishes. The dining room can get noisy, but who cares so long as the sound is of people enjoying a good meal. Desserts are sweet, simple and satisfying.
