Located in a Victorian townhouse in the heart of the arts district, Brewer’s Art succeeds equally as an elegant fine dining restaurant and a funky mecca for Belgian beer enthusiasts. From hearty continental bistro fare (steak frites) to imaginative chef's creations (harissa braised Berkshire pork shank), the seasonal menu is full of standouts. Such food is a good fit for this brewpub’s own Belgian-style beers, from the Abbey-style dubbel, aptly named Resurrection, to the dark Proletary ale. Throw in a surprisingly shrewd wine list and an opulent dining room replete with old-world intrigue and you have all the makings of a nice evening out.
