THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Brooklyn Athletic Club Restaurant Review:

It’s all about the outdoors at Brooklyn Athletic Club: the croquet court, tables and fire pits (for staying warm and making s’mores) in front, and the horseshoe, bocce and badminton courts, food truck and picnic tables in the “BACyard.” Inside the small Clubhouse, you can grab a table or sit at the chef’s counter and watch the kitchen team at work. Start with the sweet potato gnocchi or the baked mac ‘n’ cheese with braised short ribs and local cheddar. For entrées, big appetites can go for the inventive "porkobuco," a pork version of osso buco served with roasted Brussels sprouts and a potato bacon hash or an herb-roasted Bryan Farms chicken with arugula and Greek olives. Lunch can be light with a bowl of corn chowder, or more substantial with the Clubhouse burger smeared with jalapeño jam. Among the sandwiches, we suggest the “FBLT” with fried green tomatoes and a thick spread of house-made mayo that tastes like deviled eggs. Neighbors flock to this spot, where the kids can play games while the adults sip cocktails and wine before everyone settles down to dine.
