Butcher and the Brewer Restaurant Review:

Butcher and the Brewer goes beyond the modest culinary ambitions of a typical brewpub with a farmhouse-inspired menu drawing on local ingredients, quality preparations and artisan products. Meats are pasture-raised and humanely treated without the use of antibiotics or hormones. An in-house butcher works in a see-through meat locker, skillfully dividing Ohio beef that is then transformed into hand-ground burgers, steaks and even dried jerky. Pork is treated with equal care. With a 10-barrel brewhouse offering nine house beers and a slew of guest brews, B&B’s beer selection is as much a draw, if not more so, than the food. Go with friends, find a communal table and order dishes to share. Start with the house-smoked corndogs, which are unexpected and as fun as you’d imagine them to be, or the bacon-wrapped dates, which are sweet and, thanks to some chorizo, a little spicy, too. Among bigger dishes, we suggest the deconstructed lobster roll, while the smoked lamb ribs are well-seasoned and served with sweet mango chutney and a drizzle of chile oil. Because B&B lives inside an old warehouse the size of a gymnasium, sound travels, so come prepared to shout while you enjoy the eats and drinks.
