Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery Restaurant Review:
This Calistoga favorite makes some mighty fine ales and serves up decent meals to boot. With its shaded outdoor patio gracing the Napa River, additional beer garden and casual, no pretense attitude, the Inn is a welcome respite from the highfalutin restaurants found all over Napa Valley. The bar draws ’em in for Buffalo wings and other share-starters that pair well with the house-crafted microbrews under brewmaster Brad Smisloff. Lunch mains include familiar crowd-pleasers from salads to pizza to sandwiches, but with a few gutsy surprises to up their caliber: the so-called "Best Burger" really might be that. Dinner in the dining room is a more formal experience with choices such as steak, lamb, chicken, pasta and a savory paella with seafood and chorizo. Try the seasonal pie for dessert.
