The Capital Grille Restaurant Review:

This outpost of the steakhouse chain, one of the first on the Boston scene, has relocated from Newbury Street to the Hynes Convention Center, which doubled its size. The wood paneling and white tablecloths remain, but you will find a brighter, more open space with high ceilings and a wall of wine; 25 wines are available by the glass and the wine list boasts more than 5,000 bottles. The lunch menu features some of the same appetizers that are offered at dinner (pan-fried calamari with hot peppers, shrimp cocktail and Wagyu beef carpaccio), but you will also find a cheeseburger, lobster and crab burger, and rib-eye steak sandwich topped with caramelized onions and havarti cheese. For dinner, standouts are dry-aged porterhouses that weigh in at 24 ounces and lobsters up to five pounds. Kona coffee-crusted dry-aged sirloin is topped with caramelized shallot butter. Au gratin potatoes and roasted mushrooms may accompany a rib-eye. For dessert, we recommend the chocolate hazelnut cake with dark chocolate mousse and hazelnut chocolate ganache.
