The Capital Grille Restaurant Review:

There's an East Coast clubby feel to this steakhouse inside the Somerset Collection North. Professional service and posh décor make it an apt power lunch or special-occasion restaurant. On a busy after-work eve, it can get quite noisy in the richly paneled bar as chatty, well-dressed suburban blondes and cigar-smoking wheelers and dealers knock back martinis and glasses of Chardonnay. In the dining area, large gilt-framed portraits of Michigan manufacturing and political legends --- lots of Fords, plus one Romney --- ring the room. The cuisine centers around steaks and chops. Patrons have what might be considered a limited menu, with selections such as classic filet Oscar and shrimp scampi. The dry-aged steak au poivre with a Courvoisier cream sauce is a standout, but we also recommend the seafood --- salmon or swordfish --- as well. Rich desserts include chocolate hazelnut cake, coconut cream pie and handcrafted ice cream. The wine list offers more than 350 selections from around the world, including labels from big-name estates and small start-ups. After a filling meal, patrons can take a stroll through the swanky mall.
