Casa Manana Restaurant Review:
Hidden in a courtyard, this charming Mexican-Salvadoran restaurant is a true find. Casa Manana can compete with the best Mexican spots in San Francisco's Mission District, dishing up traditional flavors such as pork adobado, chalupas and breakfast all day. The menu lists all the standard dishes --- tacos, burritos, enchiladas --- but the bold flavors, high-quality ingredients and careful preparation distinguish them. Chile rellenos are light and flavorful, as are the Salvadoran tamales and pupusas. Don’t miss the chicken mole and the outrageous stuffed poblano chile with creamy walnut sauce. Good flan, too.
