Cheesy Jane's Restaurant Review:
Cheesy Jane's occupies a recycled service station outfitted with retro-’50s flair: funky stools front a soda bar, a model train circles the ceiling. But the real emphasis is on the equally retro food --- simple, 100 percent ground chuck burgers (cheesy add-ons include chipotle cheddar and pepper jack cheese), Frito pie, a Southwest turkey burger, and grilled cheese sandwiches (the Triple Cheese includes cheddar, Swiss and pepper jack). Bean burgers are a local phenomenon that ritually include crumbled Fritos in addition to refried beans, cheddar and excessive amounts of salsa picante. The fries are fine, but the lightly battered onion rings are the true stars.
