Cherry Street Public House Restaurant Review:

With tall windows running the length of this narrow space, every seat in the house --- from the coffee shop at one end through the marble-topped restaurant area and the laptop bar --- has a view out onto Occidental Park. And looking in at the sleek, modern design, blue tiles and cool colors, the view is nearly as good. It’s all part of this coffee chain’s first foray into all-day café and restaurant. But instead of losing the coffee expertise as they expand into avocado toast and Persian stews, they’ve upped the ante on everything. Nitro cold brew, hand-poured drip and customized espressos come from the coffee bar, while the restaurant serves tahini butter-topped waffles and smoked turkey wrapped in Persian flatbread. The wine and beer lists are short, with a few rotating cocktails, but the real gem is the brunchtime mimosa menu, offering sweet, bitter and creative spins on the morning favorite.
