Floor-to-ceiling windows offer guests a full view of Fisherman's Terminal from the restaurant, which serves the same fish coming off those boats. The menu offers Northwest-inspired dishes such as salmon or halibut tacos and crab cakes with ginger-plum sauce. Steaming bowls of clam chowder (Manhattan and Boston are both available) or crab-filled gumbo are favorite starters. Anyone not interested in seafood may enjoy burgers, chicken and the seven-ounce sirloin steak. The fresh sheet lists the day’s catch and always includes a bargain Blue Plate Special, and it’s where we recommend spending your hard-earned cash. The oysters are good anytime; order them at the bar while hoisting a local brew. There's a full bar with a wine list featuring Northwest varietals. To top things off, share a signature seasonal berry cobbler. In summertime, Chinook's patio is an ideal spot for dinner.
