The Counter Restaurant Review:

The Counter, a franchise operation that custom-builds burgers, dominates a busy street corner in Reston Town Center. You can start with a beef, turkey, veggie, organic bison or grilled chicken burger and put it on a bun or in a bowl, select one or extra cheeses and other toppings --- from red onions to a fried egg --- and tuck into a juicy meal. On top of that, the kitchen offers its own signature burgers, and it’s hard to imagine any can best the taco turkey sparked by jalapeño jack cheese and dried cranberries. Be sure to order a side of fries (potato or sweet potato), and to make this an American classic, a milk shake. Desserts? Key lime pie and a caramel and chocolate brownie tempt. Note that mealtimes are so popular that there’s often a line that snakes out the door.
