Crescent Hill Craft House Restaurant Review:

Crescent Hill Craft House attracts a varied crowd, from hipsters and beer geeks to families and foodies. The minimalist interior features wooden tables and booths surrounded by black walls and exposed brick in a repurposed historic shop front. Craft beer selections rotate through Kentucky and Indiana brewery creations, which are projected on the wall next to the bar. Local food purveyors are listed on the menu and their products are used in cheese and charcuterie plates, cannellini bean hummus, beer cheese that comes with the house pretzel, and garden fresh salads that mix seasonal greens and grains, as well as sandwiches and entrées. Popular items include the low-on-the-hog BLT (made with pork belly), the Turk-Chee sandwich, shrimp and grits, and the citrus-rubbed roasted chicken. Besides brews, local bourbons are featured and the cocktails are first-rate. The wine list is a bit of an afterthought. Friendly staff helpfully describes the virtues of the menu and the beverage lists.
