Delilah Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: Art Deco-themed Delilah is undeniably one of the most beautiful spots in West Hollywood. Moderne décor hearkens back to Hollywood’s golden era. Plush banquettes are softly illuminated by dripping chandeliers, globe lanterns and candlelight, creating a romantic, Gatsby-esque vibe. Weekends are a scene (velvet ropes and all) so reservations are essential. Lithe models and celebs are often spotted. The sleek bar is a perfect spot to sip a sophisticated cocktail of gin, chartreuse and verbena-infused Lillet. Outdoor dining is available.

Likes: the décor; ahi tuna tartare with avocado and radish.
Dislikes: can get noisy.

Drinks & Food: Wines are select, and the rather startling Champagne list abounds with large format bottles (including a Methuselah of Dom Pérignon Rosé Gold for $150,000 --- 6 liters of pricy bubbles). Luxe supper club fare offers standards such as steaks, chops and seafood, but some standouts shouldn’t be missed: ahi tuna tartare with avocado and radish; grilled baby artichokes with lemon aïoli; a velvety carrot soufflé that uses the original Chasen’s recipe; and most certainly Tony’s famous baby-back ribs, which surprisingly may be some of the best barbecue in LA. (There's a great burger for night owls, too.) Carrot cake with coconut cream cheese frosting is a fine end to a meal. Service is professional.
