Divellec Restaurant Review:

Mathieu Pacaud, son of Bernard, chef of L’Ambroisie, and owner of two other dining spots in Paris, Hexagone and Histoires, took over the former establishment of Jacques Le Divellec. The place features several dining rooms with comfortable banquettes plus an imposing marble bar and a pleasant terrace over the sidewalk. Original textures, a balance between crusty and melting ingredients and fine dressings bear witness to the talent of chef Pacaud. The lunch menu at €49 is a sure bet. According to the season, you might be treated to mackerel fillet with radishes, beetroot jelly and olive oil and sea bream with a red wine-flavored white peach sauce, preserved turnips, chanterelle mushrooms and almonds. The dessert is well executed too, a modernized version of the lemon pie with fragmented pastry, lime sherbet and meringue. And if you are not in a mood for zesty flavors, simply pick the signature dessert, the chocolate soufflé. Impressive wine list with a few expensive items by the glass.
