There are good reasons why this simple and unadorned Chinese restaurant is a local favorite. The main one is this: carefully prepared, fresh food served at affordable prices. Amiable and efficient service adds to the experience. The menu lists dishes well-known to Chinese food fans, but there are unusual and tasty alternatives, too, such as pineapple duck breast, its crackling skin bathed in sweet and tangy pineapple sauce, and there’s also chow dole gone. Never heard of that one? It’s dry tofu shredded and stir-fried with spicy green chili and shredded beef, pork or chicken. Lunch specials are a bargain. Take-out and delivery are options.
