El Zarape is a longtime University Heights favorite for real-deal, easy-access Mexican food. This cozy walk-up offers an immense chalkboard full of Mexican cuisine options, including classic choices and unique dishes such as barbecued chicken burritos and scallop tacos. We especially recommend anything that is topped with the mole sauce. Enjoy a nice mahi mahi taco with a cold Negra Modelo or a burrito with carne asada.
