THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Elephant Bar Restaurant Restaurant Review:

The menu at Elephant Bar is all over the board: there’s Shanghai cashew chicken, a pastrami sandwich, a Japanese ahi rice bowl, macadamia-crusted fish ‘n’ chips, shrimp and chicken jambalaya and Kona barbecue pork ribs. But this is what we like about the place---they do it all just fine, and everyone is happy. Where else in O-Town can you get a generous braised lamb shank in a sauce of roasted garlic, tomatoes and rosemary for $9.50? (With garlic mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables, too.) Nibble on an order of the quick-fried soy-ginger calamari while you take a trip around the globe to suit your fancy. Ponder a dozen Pacific Rim creations, regional favorites, fresh fish, sandwiches and burgers, and meal-size salads. Service is friendly and professional, with a manager keeping an eye on tables in a setting that’s a step up from the average casual eatery.
