Fork Restaurant Review:

Fork makes its home in Boise's oldest historical bank building. The spacious setting is elegant, with high ceilings, a bar and a casual dining on-the-go area --- an ideal showcase for the mostly classic American cuisine. Begin with tangy miso-glazed wild Alaskan black cod lettuce wraps, or spicy Cajun-seared lollipop lamb chops paired with a chimichurri sauce. Entrées include cast-iron buttermilk-fried chicken and cheddar waffles, and a wild mushroom and local-herb pesto ravioli. Top things off with a slice of warm butter cake or bourbon chocolate bread pudding. The menu has a slew of tasty burgers and sandwiches, as well as a kid-friendly line-up. There’s a well-crafted cocktail list plus a formidable wine program with selections ranging from a basic table red to a hefty ZD Abacus XII, and assorted labels from Napa Valley and Nevada.
