THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES The Frenchtown Inn Restaurant Review:

The Frenchtown Inn, located in a sleepy town on the banks of the Delaware River, is for special occasion dining, offering fine food in a romantic setting. And if you’re there on an “ordinary” night, know that it won’t be ordinary for long. It’s a handsome place, with distinguished white columns that have made it a landmark since its beginnings back in 1805. Inside, rustic exposed brick walls and wine bottle displays contrast with the sophistication of white tablecloths, candles, fresh flowers and crystal chandeliers. The menu offers classics such as beef filet with burgundy au jus accompanied by blue cheese, scallion and Yukon potato hash topped with crispy onions, or roasted chicken breast served atop fricassée of spinach, shiitake mushrooms and crab meat in white wine sauce. There are other appealing dishes designed by chef-owner Andrew Tomko, who features the freshest ingredients and local products in a creative, contemporary take on American cuisine with some continental touches. For dessert, try the sabayon spooned over seasonal fruits. The wine list complements the menu and is priced fairly. Service is polished, polite and relaxed.
