Globus Restaurant Review:

When it’s cold and snowing, dining on Asian food might not seem like an obvious option, yet Globus offers a good marriage of light and hearty cooking. Housed in what appears to be a high-country speakeasy, at least from the outside, impressions change after you’ve entered the restaurant and experienced the open and elegant space with muted earth tones and simple lines. The kitchen is known for melding Pacific Rim cuisines with Asian culinary traditions. Start with the Lava Lake Lamb dumplings before considering such mains as the flaky wild Alaskan salmon with green-apple glaze and charred artichoke purée, harissa-marinated organic chicken breast with quinoa and black lentil pilaf, and cider-soy marinated natural pork tenderloin with "forbidden" fried rice, quail egg and five-spice duck sausage. A thoughtful wine list of affordable Pacific Northwest varietals complements the menu.
