THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW A PRIVATE EVENT SPACE Grbic Restaurant Review:

As the Bosnian community in St. Louis moves into its second generation, young and old alike gravitate to Grbic, a family-run restaurant and banquet center in a lovingly restored old dairy. The fare is heavily Bosnian with influences of Germany (schnitzel) and Italy (tiramisu). Cevapi, spicy Bosnian grilled sausage, is the trademark dish; other specialties include sarma (beef and rice wrapped in cabbage leaves) and palacinke (crêpes with hazelnut-chocolate sauce, walnuts and whipped cream). And there is goulash, good enough to make diners groan with delight. The fluctuating wine selection has an occasional high-quality surprise. In many ways, Grbic is a throwback to an earlier South St. Louis, when European culture and generous platters of food were a given. And the welcome is always warm, whether or not you happen to speak Bosnian.
