Small and neighborhood friendly, this privately owned ice cream shop is a real treat. Beyond the frozen goodies (at least 22 rotating ice cream flavors, including salted caramel), soft-serve ice cream and the usual malts, milkshakes and sundaes, the enterprising owners have also stocked up the remaining shelves with tasty foods. These include high-end baked goods from several local sources as well as local honey and dairy products (eggs, cheese, milk and creams) from Pennsylvania-based Trickling Springs Creamery where all livestock is organically grass-fed. But the key to the place’s success is that the ice cream comes from a former Great Falls ice cream store that moved to become an ice cream factory in Maryland.
