The Harp Inn Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: This longstanding Irish pub has been attracting people to Costa Mesa’s bustling 17th Street since well before the thoroughfare became a hip hangout. Its allure is in its simplicity. Green hues, dark woods and dim lighting set a proper Celtic mood --- one that gets even better with a pint of draught beer in hand.

Likes: Classic Irish beer selection.
Dislikes: Limited non-bar indoor seating.

Food & Drinks: Folks belly up to the bar to get their beer on and dive into the kitchen’s unpretentious pub grub. Expected classics like bangers and mash and fish and chips are on the menu, and they’re joined by out-of-the-box selections such as the corned beef-stuffed Irish tacos. Burgers, sandwiches and salads are also available for those who want domestic fare. Brunch with bottomless mimosas is offered on weekends; we recommend indulging in the traditional Irish breakfast. The food and drink are often precursors to the frequent entertainment, which ranges from pub trivia to live music. If you’re lucky, there will be an English Premier League game or another football match on the telly.
