In the stew of ethnicity of nearby South Street, this is a welcome, serene spot, with the restraint of a typical restaurant in Japan. Sushi and tempura are consistently good, and the family-friendly teppanyaki menu is always a hit with the kids. Try any of the maki, like the Dynamite Roll with softshell crab tempura, cucumber, scallion and spicy sauce. A $40.95 sushi feast is a good deal for two or even three diners. Bowls of cold udon with shrimp tempura are a refreshing treat in warm weather.
