Humboldt & Jackson Restaurant Review:

This bar and restaurant is set on a residential block in Williamsburg and housed in a former catering hall. A large back room might be good for events, but the real action is up front at the bar. Nosh on small plates and sip a glass of wine from the small but affordable list, or one of the handful of craft beers available. Skip the pumpkin hummus and instead dive into the creamy chicken liver mousse or the beer cheese. There are various cheese and meat plates from which to nibble while chatting and imbibing. There isn’t much by way of dessert, but if you have a sweet hankering get the s’mores.
