Lola Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: As chef/restaurateur Tom Douglas' first step into international waters, Lola melds Northwest ingredients and Greek flavors, paying homage to his wife and partner Jackie Cross’s Greek heritage.

Food & Drinks: Bring a group of friends and simply graze, starting with an assortment of spreads, from roasted red pepper to smoky eggplant and minted feta, all served with fresh pita wedges. At lunch, order the ouzo-splashed kebabs, especially the lamb, chicken and prawn skewers paired with smashed potatoes. For a hearty dinner, the juicy lamb burger with a side of chickpea fries is a winner, as is the braised rabbit with lemon and artichokes, and the fragrant cumin-spiced leg of lamb. Desserts rotate, but keep your fingers crossed for the goat cheese turnovers glistening with honey and mint. A full bar offers a plethora of libations, while the wine list is thoughtful and balanced, showcasing Pacific Northwest varietals. Service is gracious and informed, and its hotel proximity also makes Lola a prime breakfast destination.
