Long Provincial Vietnamese Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Smack dab in the middle of downtown Seattle, this always-busy spot offers an original, sophisticated spin on Vietnamese food at just the right price. Although masked by an unassuming façade, the restaurant's interior has high ceilings and earth-toned walls, much like its sibling, Tamarind Tree in the International District. The result is a tranquil ambience underscored with a hip vibe. Portions are generous, dishes are attractively presented, and ingredients are always fresh. Choose from the house specials such as the tender crêpes that are a cross between an omelet and a crệpe brimming with shrimp, bean sprouts and vegetables, ready to wrap inside lettuce leaves and top with Asian basil leaves. A salad roll stuffed with shrimp and/or pork and fresh herbs; a turmeric-coconut rice cake; and lily blossom-steamed halibut are also available. For dessert, order the tempting grilled banana cake or roasted coconut ice cream. If a light dinner is your goal, go for grilled pork rolls and satays at happy hour. A full bar provides a range of libations.
