About the restaurant: Mastro's Ocean Club is perched over the beach in Malibu. The rectangular space encompasses a patio with both open-air and enclosed areas, a bar and lounge with nightly live piano music and singing, segmented dining rooms and a private dining room. Every table and booth has a view, thanks to the bi-level arrangement of the dining room.

Food & Drinks: Expect the same menu as at the restaurant's sister locations in Newport Beach, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Boston and Fort Lauderdale. Seafood takes a starring role with appetizer options like an iced seafood tower, sushi rolls, sashimi, crab cakes and shrimp cocktail, continuing with entrées of Scottish salmon fillet, twin lobster tails and Alaskan king crab legs. The menu also features salads, soups, steaks along with à la carte sides (creamed spinach, lobster mashed potatoes) and desserts including Mastro's signature warm butter cake. Weekend brunch presents a prime opportunity to enjoy the expansive ocean views along with a plate of smoked salmon, lobster Benedict or tuna burger. California finds plenty of representation on the wine list, and there are also craft beers and more than two dozen cocktails.
