About the restaurant: Besides boasting the sexiest spherical and futuristic dining room in all of Miami, Matador Room from Jean-Georges Vongerichten at The Miami Beach EDITION serves well-executed, locally sourced and globally inspired fare.
Food & Drinks: Think table snacks such as sweet pea guacamole, robust flatbreads (order the version with spinach, manchego cheese and Espelette pepper), a bevy of tacos with tortillas from Taquiza, and a plethora of grilled, roasted and rice selections. Everything from pan-seared Florida cobia with glazed artichokes to charred Florida octopus with a paprika emulsion, and grilled Prime NY strip or a rib-eye for two graces the menu. The house signature dish is arroz con pollo, crowned with crackling pig skin and lemon zest. Be sure to top it off with the house hot sauce. Come for brunch when a good portion of the dinner items are available along with a bottomless Bloody Mary bar and breakfast food like coconut pancakes with grapefruit and lavender maple syrup or crunchy Mexican spiced french toast with apples.
