Maxie’s Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: Located at The LINQ Promenade at the base of the High Roller observation wheel, this deli/diner has décor featuring a color palette of gray and white punctuated with pops of aqua and red, indoor and outdoor seating and tabletops decorated with board games like Candyland, Chutes & Ladders and Monopoly.

Likes: The food menu is diversified enough to appeal to a broad range of tastes and moods.
Dislikes: Dessert choices are limited to five specialty and three classic milkshakes. The wine selection only has six choices and the beer list has eight, all of which are light-hued brews and none of which are locally made.

Food & Drinks: You can find your inner child enjoying breakfast items like pancakes stuffed and topped with fluffy cotton candy or peanut butter & jelly; and french toast infused with Fruity Pebbles cereal with colored chocolate or Coco Pebbles with s’mores cream cheese. Lunch specialties we recommend are the Blueberry Clucker with buttermilk fried chicken, blueberry jam, blueberry mayo, sliced jalapeños and pepper jack cheese; and the assortment of deli sandwiches filled with pastrami, pepperoni, ham, turkey or tuna salad. The dinner menu features variations of American classics served family style, with options including a turkey dinner with oven-roasted turkey breast, spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread, and 14-oz. rib-eye with soy sesame glaze. The whimsical flair continues in the dessert offerings: over-the-top milkshakes such as the Cookie Monster with blueberries, blue chocolate, chocolate sprinkles and Cookie Crisp cereal. A small list of wine, sangría, Prosecco and beer is available, as are cocktails like the apricot Moscow mule.
